Second double page spread

I have decided to do a second double page spread as after looking at more music magazines I have realised that the interviews go over two double page spread. This is mosr prominant if the artist who is being interviewed is also feature on the front page as it means they are important. I have arranged another shoot for Saturday 8th March to take more photos of my model Faye at my house. Using my house gives more diversity to my pictures. The style of the clothing she will use will be the same as the previous shoot. I will aslo include a accoustic guitar as a prop to totally relate the pictures to the music genre.

Creation process

This is the beginning of the creation process of my first draft for my music magazine.

Masthead ideas

 These are some mastheads of some real magazines (some of them music and some fashion) that I have taken inspiration from when designing myown masthead. The mastheads I like are bold and blocked, so those where the type of fonts I looked at.

These are the fonts I have thought about using. I have chosen to use the font in the top left corner as it is bold but different at the same time.

My chosen album name

I have made a word cloud for the names I have made up for my artists' album. In the end I have chosen 'Love, Hate and Music' as it fits the story I am telling through my interview about the background of the album and why the artist has made it.

Artist branding

I have thought about how I want my artist to be recieved and how I have presented them in my magazine so far.

Extended schedule

The deadline for our music magazine hand in has been extended so I have changed my plan to accomidate this.
